Curse you Mo! I was hoping to have the entire week to myself!

I just figure that there is always that random person who is approved WAY earlier than everyone else....it hasn't been our personal experiernece as of yet, but usually someone is that lucky one. Heck, who knows, maybe the first one will get approved before the new year! Wouldn't that be great??

At least one of them was a military expedite. Not sure about the others. It is exciting to see August filers starting to be approved though. When you consider that their numbers (and our numbers) are a fraction of July filers, it's cause to celebrate. Za nost!

Quick question: How do we know that august filers are getting their NOA2's from CSC already? I just did a timeline search and it says that no august filers have the NOA2's yet from the CSC. Are people not updating their timelines or what?

My guess is people are looking at the NOA1 date and not the date the SC received it. there have been 3 true august filers who have been approved at VSC, there are 36 July filers approved and of those some probably have an NOA1 date in August and that is what people are seeing and reporting August approvals. But like I said before, the only true Aug filers have been done at VSC and there are only 3 of them so far.

Okay, I got to say that I am still confused about how people keep so up to date about who has been approved. Can someone let me know how they figure out the weekly totals? I saw it posted in another thread that someone checks the Timelines and then checks "Recent Approvals" for K-1...but I could not see anything called "Recent Approvals". What is the deal?

Mo, click on Immigration Timelines at the top, and then "View K-1 Visas." Click on the arrow next to the NOA2 column to sort by the latest NOA2's received. That's how you can determine the latest NOA2's. If you want to only see specific service centers, go to the bototm of the page and choose the pulldown for service centers. For a correct total on CSC approvals make sure you look at Texas and Nebraska service centers too.

See, I dont like that one. I use the Immi timelines, then click on timeline search, then I put in my search criteria click the show all button and it shows me for the dates I selected. No fumbling around in that huge list see below:
