I-130 Address Question

My husband and I are sending our I-130 application next week but we are still a little cofused about the addresses questions. Here is our situation: My husband is a US Citizen, but moved to Mexico to live with me to wait out the process. He is considered a tourist here not a resident (he has a tourist visa), so he was told that he had to file in the US, and could use his parents address, since he no longer has an address there.

On the I-130:

We assume that for questions 1B, where it is asking for his address he should use his parents address (in Washington state), not our address in Mexico.

We are sure that for question 2C, where it asks for my address I can use my actual address in Mexico.

However, what address do we use for question 19, where it asks what address in the US your relative intends to live? We are not sure where we will live yet. Should we use his parents address?

We are most confused about what to put down for question 20, where it asks "If filling for your husband/wife, give last address at which you lived together", technically we have been living together in Mexico since last March, but since he is considered a tourist, he is not considered to have residence here (although he is enrolled in a Spanish program at the University). Do i put down that we have not lived together, or should I say that we have lived together at the Mexico address since March. If I use the latter, won't that be confusing to the person reviewing the application?

My husband went to theEmbassy and they were helpful in answering his questions, we will probably go again or call the 800 USCIS information number, however, i thought i would seek help here first.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

I would put his parent's address as both his address and your intended address. Your address is your address and it is also the last address at which you lived together. You might add a sentence to your cover letter indicating he is on an extended holiday in Mexico with you.

That sounds like good advice. I put down multiple addresses and I think it created problems for me. Keep it as simple as possible.
