Hello everyone. I am just starting the Visa journey. I am compleating my I-129f and have a 2 questions. I have learned that I will need to have 125% of the poverty level to suport my fiencee. I have also read that this poverty level is listed on form I-864P but I am unable to find it. Can some one sare were to find it or be so kind to let me know what the current level is? I know I am most likely making this to hard but for example if the poverty level is $15,000. Is it $18,750? 15,000 X 125% or is it $33,750? 15,000 X 2 + 3750? Or am I totaly confused?

Does anyone have an example of the Declaration of how you met in person in the last two years? I understand it should only be 1 page long but unsure of what information I should include. I am just worried I wont inclued the correct information or not give them what they want. Thank you to anyone who can help.

This link may help you :

Also, you do not have to write a one page declaration of how the two of you met. If you can condense it into a paragraph, cool. If not, you can add a continuation sheet . Just give dates and places along with supporting evidence.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

All you have to do is multiply the number on the chart by 1.25.

The 125% requirement applies to the form you provide during the AOS stage. For the visa stage 100% is fine. Though the CO does have some leeway in deciding if what you make is enough.
