which it seems I-751's take forever anyway historically

Well, in general, I'd say yes.  A few I-751s are processed fast, while others (such as ours) take a long, long time.  Our I-751 took 44 months...we filed in March 2019....approved in December 2022...with no RFEs......weird, but true.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Nothing yet. Was hoping to get the letter before we leave for Asia tomorrow. I assume they are sending the notice via snail mail. I wish they would post these things in the documents tab to expedite the process.

I was thinking they would post it, too.  Hope you can get this all behind you soon.

I liked your post because of the last part; "I wish they would post these things in the documents tab to expedite the process. "

Not because you haven't heard.

Agreed.  I've reviewed the form a thousand times (hyberbole), and I can not see anything wrong other than what I mentioned before where Adobe automatically enter this:

Instead of my full name, and I was dumb enough to notice it but not correct it.  We have decided that if we do not have a physical letter in hand or an online notice on the documents tab by tomorrow at noon, I am going to correct what I think was wrong ...and resubmit the form.  Worse that can happen is a second rejection.  I'd prefer not to have to deal with this when we are in Myanmar for a multitude of reasons.
