We are applying for K1 Visa in Manila. We already filed the DS-160 for Erlinda and she has already completed the medical. We also already have a bio-metric appointment and embassy appointment. We have not yet filed the DS160s for the three children. We are aware that each child has to have a DS160 as well as the physical and bio-metrics. We have many questions best answered by someone that experienced the solutions. The kids all need individual Visas I think.

1. Can we just take the DS-160 confirmation page for each child along to the Bio-metrics. Certainly they don't each need individual appointments for that. I'm sure they need biometrics? Ages, 16, 11, and 10.

2. Can we go set up SLEC appointment for the kids using Erlinda's confirmation and DS-160 and appointment letter from the embassy?

3. I believe that we put one on the DS-160 application for Erlinda thinking one on each of the kids DS-160s too. Does that need to be refiled to correct that or is it correct?

4. Does Zeijan the 16 year old need a NBI or Police clearance?

We considered just her and I flying to USA and then doing the kids paperwork after. Does that mean we would have to have a I-129 for each and start all over with the wait for them? Best to get it now with her Visa but what if... I know they could travel after (I think within 4 months?)

Regards

Sparks and Erlie

They can come together or they can follow to join. You make the choice.  Each person needs all the same things except only one I-129f that listed the children's information, and only the 16 year old child and the mother need police reports.

Thank you so much. I wasn't sure if he needed a police report. NBI also??

The real concern was about setting up the appointment before sending in their DS160. So I will do a new DS160 to reflect travel with 3 kids and create a ds160 for each of them. I will take the original ds160 for Erlie and take the updated DS160 as well. The guard will accept that for entry to the embassy I was told. The Bio metrics will just need ds160 confirmation for all and the normal stuff, passport and her appointment notice I believe.

Sounds good.  Age 16 needs the NBI report.
