probably no answers as its an unusal situation

but why not marry as you're together and CR1 spouse visa is the best way to go?

Have you maintained US residency or bank account and DL to prove US residency?

Do you have US income thru online work or by crossing border (as many do ) to work in the US?

OR do u have a joint sponsor?

Thanks for the discouragement, I was needing something to bring me back down to earth haha

I don't think it fits my situation as well as a K1

Yes

Yes but not through either of those sources. I have a pension and income producing real estate in Oregon.

Do u have a joint sponsor?

I don't smoke. But my girl does and she's excited about moving to Oregon where weed is legal.

A joint sponsor is referring to someone that will sponsor you financially, and co-sign the financial documents for you to meet the financial requirements of K-1.

what medical? My last K1 was in 2018. Maybe I vaguely remember her getting a medical exam. Is that done in the home country usually?

Are you the petitioner or beneficiary? The beneficiary will have a medical exam done by doctor's appointed by the US Embassy. They test for drugs. Marijuana is not legal on the federal level.
