Hello,

My wife (an IR1 Green Card holder) and I recently moved and each filed a change of address with USCIS. Today, I received a letter from USCIS (Sponsor Change of Address - Form I-797C, Notice of Action), but I (the petitioner) was listed as both the petitioner and beneficiary (not my wife). I filed through the mail and printed a copy of my Form I-865 for record keeping.

Looking at my copy of my submitted Form I-865, I absolutely listed myself as 'Sponsor' and my wife as 'the Sponsored Immigrant'. Did I do something wrong? I'm so confused. Was this just a clerical input error on their part on my Form I-797C?

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Am deeply confused as to how/why I was listed as both 'Petitioner' and 'Beneciary'.

There is message under my information on the Form I-797C stating, "If any of the above information is incorrect. Please immediately call 800 375 5283 to let us know". Any idea what additional information I'd have to provide to correct this so I may prepare?

Thank you in advance.
