K1 Visa Processing - Santo Domingo, DR

My fiancee and I are at the final step prior to scheduling interview. We completed the DS-160 and registered on the https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-us/countries_list/niv webpage. We can not figure out how to pay for the Santo Domingo, DR page for the K-1 Visa and when we try to schedule interview says "system busy try again later". It has been 2 weeks getting same error. Please help.

Hello! I’m from Bolivia but in my country, we have an email address in the Embassy official website and I’ve sent some emails in the past about different things and they always answer in a few days…sometimes their website is down for some operations and they don’t even know because nobody tells them (At least in my country, k-1 visa is not that common)

If the CEAC status says “Ready” and you already submitted the DS-160, you should be able to pay and schedule. But when the site keeps saying “System Busy” for two weeks, it usually means either: The embassy hasn’t flipped the switch on your case yet Or the payment system is glitching (which happens more often than it should) Best move? Email support-dominicanrepublic@ustraveldocs.com and ask if your case is actually active in their system. Sometimes they don’t even realize it’s stuck until someone points it out. It’s not just you. that whole site is janky. But once it works, yeah, you can pay and schedule directly through that page. Just gotta get through the digital brick wall first.
