Could someone help me? My son received the same RFE. NVC is requesting the "full text" birth certificate. My children and I received this RFE on September 22nd. I thought it was because I sent it in JPG format and not scanned. I sent it scanned on the 23rd, and my oldest son and I received the DQ. Now, 17 days later, they sent an RFE saying they want the full text birth certificate, which I sent correctly this time. What can I do about this? Could someone help me?

Does certificate match this description?

Some countries have short and long versions of birth certificates. Maybe by "full text" they meant yours doesn't include all info as in reciprocity table above?

Thanks for your reply! Yes, I sent the correct document that we call "Inteiro Teor" here in Brazil. My oldest son and I received the DQ. They accepted our document and those are the same. I don't know what happened with my odest son's document because it's legible and it is the document that they are asking for.

it may not have come thru or is not readble on their end

mark it with your case # (even though you go to your case to send it )

and resend to NVC

they ask for it and u gotta do it or case will go no further

I resent the same document. Let's see if they will accept this time and asked the congresswoman help as well. Let's see what happens.

Thanks for your reply!
