Hello!

My mother-in-law and I are trying to go through the I-134 questions.

We are a little bit confused and wanted to know what did you guys wrote/did.

Do we understand right that the sponsor is the petitioner and the joint sponsor is my mother-in-law?

So as I understand, they both will need to fill I-134.

So at the question 18 - does my fiancé need to check “no”? As he doesn’t have enough of income. And on my mother-in-law’s form, it would be “yes”?

When do I mention that I have a joint sponsor? When I will fill the DS-160? Or at the visa interview?

At the question 12 - Beneficiary’s Anticipated Period of stay in The U.S.

Do we just write the approximate date that we think I’ll be there with my visa? Even if I wouldn’t be there from that date (we aren’t psychics, haha), it wouldn’t be a big of a deal right? It’s just weird they are asking for a specific date. I hope it would be okay if the months maybe would be the same.

And of course we would check “no end date”

About question 17.

My mother-in-law is wondering, where she can get a proof, like a document that she doesn’t have any mortgages or anything?

What did you mention on the question 17? Does she need to mention car, houses, accounts?

If you have any tips or experience about joint sponsors, I would really appreciate! Maybe there are little things that we don’t know.

Thank You in advance!
