Hey all!  Actively filling out our form now!

Just a few questions as I really get into the weeds of this thing.

I've only had two addresses for the past five years, and I remember all the details about them.  But my lady has had many addresses when she moved around a lot, and is having difficulty remembering exactly where she went and for how long.  Is that a deal breaker if addresses are missing or inaccurate, or not a critical detail?  What about timing of those addresses?  She's trying to get the most accurate info she can for me.  She has lived in the same place for about three years now, once she got settled in.

Another detail she is having trouble finding is the date of birth of her mom.  I assume that is a critical detail, so I'm putting a priority on finding that.

Just be as accurate as you can. For me, some dates I couldn't recall exactly, but I knew the months and years, so I just put the 1st for both start and end dates.

Gather all the information you possibly can. She might not remember the exact address, but she might -at least- remember what city or town it was and maybe the street. And if you know that much, Google earth may help you find the #.

Whatever you really can't find, explain in a cover letter with your application. It's better to explain than to wait months only to get an RFE and you have to explain then.

Missing or sloppy addresses won’t sink the case, but it can trigger delays or RFEs if things don’t add up. Do the best you can — recent, stable history matters more. Mom’s date of birth is required, so track that down.
