Then sadly I think that case will have died. You could have just told them you were married, changed category to F3 and kept your original Priority Date. You and your husband would probably have had visas by now.

LPRs can not sponsor married children, they should file the I 130 asap, a very long wait.

Which country were you born in? 

No unfortunately we did not pursue it further.  No docs were submitted either, I just received a letter from NVC asking me to continue with next step. But we never responded.

Ok, then unfortunately it’ll mean having to start from scratch I think, although may be worth asking NVC just on the off chance they’ll reinstate the case.

Thanks for your help! Pakistan.  Now I am a Canadian citizen. Will that affect my case in any ways e,g  processing times., will my F3 application be processed according to Canadian citizen's timeline or Pakistani citizens?

It makes no difference then. The only countries with their own Priority Date processing on the Visa Bulletin are India, Mexico or the Philippines. Canada and Pakistan both come under ‘All Chargeability Areas’. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2025/visa-bulletin-for-july-2025.html

You have a better chance coming to the US through employment, eventually getting GC from employer and naturalizing. This may take less time than pursuing F3.
