We were hearing from some people they weren't sending out Welcome Letters.

We filed an inquiry and got our case number, in the CEAC our status is READY.

We already set up VAC (biometrics) and the Interview.

QUESTION: However, I am now concerned about two things:

-Do I need to log into the CEAC? I cannot do so without an invoice number, which is on the Welcome Letter? What if there are instructions there, or I need to upload docs?

-Also, what is the K1-FTP she is supposed to bring to the VAC and Interview? Can that just be the status READY page?

there is no uploading documents for the K1, so there is no need to login to the CEAC. K1s only use CEAC to track their status and to fill out the DS-160

everything document wise will be brought to the interview

the K1-FTP is the K1 visa version of the welcome letter. but its not required to have, but it is just good to have. my husband received it in the mail almost a month after his case was already at the embassy.

what you bring to the interview will be the DS-160 confirmation page and whatever documents the embassy tells you to bring

No need to login to CEAC.

The K1-FTP letter will be sent via email to petitioner few weeks after NOA2 (3 weeks in our case) then another few more weeks for the physical letter but to the beneficiary.

SLEC will need a copy of this. I also brought a copy to VAC but they just looked at it for case verification.
