Case Type: i90 - Application to replace permanent resident card

on the form I-797C where is says Receipt Number states N/A

In the middle of the document there is the following:

Notice Type: USCIS Account Access Notice

Onlice Access Code XXXXX-XXXX-XXXXX

Why isnt there a receipt number?

Thank you

For security reasons "Account Code Notice" and "Receipt Notice" are sent in two different letters.

You don't have "Receipt Notice" yet, only "Account Code Notice".

The case number is masked to protect you.

If somebody steals your mail, they won't be able to see your case.

You need both letters to access case online.

Anything from few weeks to over 2 years.

80% of cases are completed within 24.5 months for initial issuance or replacement

80% of cases are completed within 13 months for 10 GC renewals

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

But again, based on your complex immigration history, maybe you won't be able to renew GC?

Have you consulted a lawyer before poking bear with a stick by filing new cases?

I received a notice from USCIS for an interview related to my N-400 (naturalization) application (beginning February 2025 - interview on 3/11/25). My attorney advised me not to attend the interview, as my pending I-290B (Motion to Reopen or Reconsider) had not yet been approved.

Surprisingly, just three days before the scheduled N-400 interview, USCIS approved my I-290B. However, on the same day, the approval was reversed (denied), and then re-approved again, all within a very short time frame.

Then, the day before the N-400 interview, I received a letter from USCIS stating that they had determined I was already a U.S. citizen, and therefore, they would not send the Permanent Green Card as I should be receiving a date for the naturalization ceremony.

I went to the N-400 interview as originally scheduled. During the interview, the USCIS officer clarified that the document stating I was already a U.S. citizen was not accurate. I proceeded with the interview, successfully passed the test, but was given a written notice stating that a decision could not be made at that time.

Three weeks later (April 1st), I was informed that my naturalization application was denied. The reason given was that the application was based on marriage to a U.S. citizen, but I had divorced in 2019, and the N-400 was filed in 2018, prior to the divorce.

As of now:

  • We have filed an I-90 (Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card).

  • We are currently compiling documentation to reapply for N-400
