I have it in two different binders though. One with the "required" stuff and then another one with all the other stuff. Thought, I might put my small binder on the table, ready to go... and the other one in a bag as a backup, in case they got in depth questions about my immigration history.

I am just worried about security. Are they gonna let me go inside with a giant (over 700) pages binder?

 

Other than that... Anything else I should prepare for? I know the 100 civic questions, speak, write and understand English. But haven't specifically studied "definitions" of words that are part of the application. I heard about that part for the first time recently. Do they really ask you to define words or is it just basic understanding of anything that's in the naturalization application?

Where did you find it -- on an official USCIS page, or anecdotally as rumor or an isolated occurrence?

You can relax a bit.  The naturalization interview is typically the easiest part of this process, by far.

Umm... I think it was in a FB group for German dual citizens. I'm honestly not sure anymore 😅 I usually don't care much about rumors... but you know how it can be, once you overthink, you think of everything possible lol.

I do believe though, I also seen something on the USCIS website before. But I think it was more like "you should understand these words when applying for naturalization". Not as in, they're going to ask you words and you have to give a perfect definition.

 

Well, thank you! I usually try to give as much information as possible when I review or explain something.

 

I'm also trying to tell that myself, it's by far the easiest part of the whole immigration journey. I should relax. I've done the whole K-1, AOS, ROC (with divorce waiver) and now naturalization process all by myself. Without any RFE's or other issues. It shouldn't be that difficult... But I like to overthink and panic 😬 so, just making sure, I'm 100% prepared.

1.   I had a work accident a month ago and cut a tendon in my hand and had surgery, so unfortunately, I can’t do violent physical exercise.

2.   I'm working on that lol

I got an app, a book and flashcards... I make my boyfriend go through all the flashcards with me. And I'm complaining every time why "got hit by lightning while flying a kite" is not one of the answers. Very disappointing... That's the only thing I knew about him before I actually studied the questions 😂

N-400 interview is very straightforward process.

It's the easiest of All so far in my opinion . Many people in this thread can confirm 😊😊😊
