K1 fiance visa - question about biometrics.

I was just curious if this pertains to us (fiancé and myself) do we need this step is it part of the process? Neither of us have any issues I'm just curious. Also once he gets his interview I believe I read he needs to bring our entire submitted document packet with him to his interview at the embassy.

There is not a biometrics specific appointment for a K1, but there may be fingerprints and photos taken at the interview (it has been a long time sine my wife went through this process).  As to taking a copy of the package to the interview, this is not required, but it is a good idea just in case a CO asks for it.

@Dashinka is correct… there will not be a USCIS biometrics appointment for the K-1 process. Your fiancé will have one by the embassy in whatever manner they do things at that particular embassy. Some have gone to offsite visa application centers where this will be done, some still do them at the embassy itself. Bringing a copy of the submitted I-129F package is good practice in case the consular officer conducting the interview requires something from it for some reason. Best of luck!
