Forgot to Sign Extra sheet for Question 54- How we met

I cannot believe we made this mistake but we forgot a signature/date on our one supplemental sheet where we answered question 54/ how we met.

We do have  a cover sheet with the date and signature attached to it but somehow 

forgot to sign the actual word document/ extra sheet where we wrote out our story/ how we met - we do have the petitioner's name on the top of that page though.

 

Is this a guaranteed rejection or RFE situation.

 

We signed our letters of intent to marry and on the actual I-129F form where it was required .

if the I-129f is signed in the correct spot, it could just be an RFE.

But if it does get rejected, everything gets sent back to you (including any checks you made) and nothing gets paid for. if that happens you fix the mistake and you can send back the same exact packet (including evidence)

Thank you! We got NOA1 so I'm hoping that means it wasn't rejected outright?

NOA1 means they are processing it, they would have rejected it outright if it was a major issue.

unless they find something egregiously wrong with it, you could just get an RFE

It's very easy to play the "what if" game and drive yourself crazy.  I wouldn't worry about this too much.  Good luck.
