I submitted in march 30th. My interview was in September and i don't have any letters or notice since then

I filed late March too, seems like you are in front of me in the process

I see I wasn’t the only one waiting for months. The waiting is truly agonizing.

But realistically, I could end up waiting again after my second interview. I’m meeting my new attorney tomorrow to prepare. Honestly, I’m glad my previous attorney was “supposedly” unavailable on the day of my interview — it was always challenging to get timely replies from them. My new attorney responds quickly, seems more experienced, and has a much better approach overall.

ROC VSC mailed 5/7/14

NOA1 5/9

Check cashed 5/14

Biometrics current

RFE dated 12/18

RFE mailed 1/20

Approved 2/2 ! ( letter came from the local office)

Card received 2/17/15 !!!!

I hope so. Nothing today. My progress said two weeks until decision

Do not consider what is on my progress.

My oath ceremony is scheduled il less than 3 weeks and on my progress it's:

11  months until final decision.

It has been like that for almost all the time.

The day I was scheduled for interview it was 22 months before the final decision.

Do not consider the time posted on my progress.

If you don’t mind me asking why do you think you needed to have a second interview? I’m only asking to see if I may have to?

Who knows. They didn’t have my A-file during the first interview — that interview shouldn’t have happened in the first place. But it did, so maybe now they just want to ask the questions they would’ve asked if they had the file the first time.

I agree with OldUser.  If not, good luck, and God bless you.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Myself and my husband had our interview this morning, It was short and very smooth and we were both approved, status online show oath will be scheduled.

My husband was called first then about 10 min after another officer called me.

I was sworn in, read and write in English, then my questions.

What is Freedom of Religion? Who is the Vice President? How many justices on Supreme Court? What is one responsibility of a US citizen? One promise you make when you become a US citizen? what year was the constitution written?. Then she went through the application questions, she asked about my kids which one I support. Then she asked if I still work at my current job and live at my current address.

Then I verified the info on the tablet and signed and read the oath and signed. She then said I am approved and will be notified of a Oath date. As I was leaving her office the officer that interviewed my husband called to my officer to confirm we are together and that we are both approved, they said they will make sure to have us at the same Oath ceremony.

Congratulations  for the APPROVALS 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉

You guys will soon get your oath ceremony scheduled.

In my case, my officer told me I was to hear from them in three weeks.

It seems like they are no longer doing the same day oath ceremony. They now have to wait a certain amount of days for quality reviews before the oath ceremony can be scheduled.

I guess you guys are feeling much relaxed now than before.
