You guys must have nice jobs if you have so much spare time to do work around the house.

I have a lot of work I need to get done and very little time to do it. Hiring someone is pretty much my only option. Especially given that with my level of skills I'd need 2-3 times as much time as a skilled professional to get it right.

As for my original point - when you've made the decision to hire someone, to rule out a source of cheap labor is stupid.

yet i have to consider this - just because that source of labor is cheap that does not mean they are qualified to do the work. sure, some of the illegals could wire a house for electricity, but as to whether it's done to code and is done correctly is another matter. any house repairs i'd strongly caution against having someone do that is not a professional as you could wind up with one heck of a disaster later on.

and btw, i work 40 hours a week usually, sometimes up to 91 hours a week.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

So pay the fair price for it instead of financially benefitting from exploitation ;)

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
