Hi folks,

I had my interview for my NIW-EB2 case on October 2023.  After the interview, the consular officer asked me to email my 212(e) waiver for my previous J1 visa and then they will grant my immigrant visa. As the process is very time consuming It took more than 7 months to get the waiver from USCIS. Finally, on 18th June 2024 I got my I-612 and emailed the copy of my waiver to the embassy. The embassy did not reply my email and I tried multiple times. I called them however the phone is never reachable. Its already more than 15 days I am getting very worried about it. Could you kindly suggest what shall I do in such situation? Your expert advice would really help.

Thanks in advance!

Nothing to do but wait until they get to it - it's probably sitting waiting to be looked at. Hope it's not too long for you.

Exactly just waiting at the moment. However, my fear is what if they don't respond.  That is what makes me confused and stressful.

They will respond, but you're just waiting your turn. As above, it's only been 10 days (today is another holiday too) so too early to expect them to be processing it yet.
