So despite the official USCIS.gov 13 month processing time for 80% of cases, it’s really only taking 2.5-3 months?

USCIS states that 80% of cases are completed within 13 months. That isn't the same as them taking 13 months to complete.

The data on TMVN, VJ and anecdotal from recent approvals here suggests that the processing times have significantly decreased for many cases.

In the past, when the processing times were shorter (4-6 months), the USCIS site reflected that though.

We got our NOA1 on 2/13/24 and our NOA2 on 5/13/24 so only 90 days. I was shocked it went that fast.

Yes.  they are processing a little over 7000 cases a month and on average are getting about 3000 cases submitted.

And from what I heard how USCIS reports their timeline it's very data backwards looking.  If theirs a drastic change it won't be reflected in their timeline for quite a while.

TMVN already provides essentially empirical data through its ability to assess status changes and build an algorithm.  Your case is a drop in the bucket, my friend. :D

Even still, I fully admit that I invested in a sub just to watch my case advance.  At some point though, you go back in the dark and stay there.  But enjoy the ride while it's lit and stay pragmatic. ❤️

UPDATE: 5/24/2024

Just got email today that my case was approved:)

This is my current TMVN status:

There are 2,022 cases ahead of you in line. When you started, there were 11,979.

Total wait time was 1 month, 4 weeks, 2 days

Results: TMVN is not only accurate its algorithm works in real time. USCIS works on cases depending on the week they receive them minus weekends, so once they start working on cases a week or two ahead of yours it appears things speed up quickly. This graph is very accurate showing that once they started working on cases the week before me they got to mine much sooner than expected. In all I would definitly reccommend TMVN to anyone!

I hope this helps someone cure the anxiety bug! Good Luck to all:)
