Packet 3 - Frankfurt consulate in Germany

I have another question...

 

I've paid the Fee and send the consulate the confirmation page of my DS160 by email. That is all I was supposed to do after receiving packet 3, correct? 🤔

 

On the website where the payment methods were explained it said I would be able to schedule an appointment directly after paying the fee when I used the Online Payment by Debit Card.
But...Where? How? It never directed me to a page where to do this. Now when I login at USTravelDocs, it does indeeed show the $265 fee i paid which was at 0 before, if i remember correctly.

I also had the payment acceptance - receipt + receiptnumber. I took a screenshot of this on my phone and I downloaded the PDF so I can print it when im at work.

 

Is this the part where I wait for the P4 email and will I be able to schedule the appointment after? 🙈 I did get an automated Email so they have received it.

So far they also never even replied to inquiries, so i lost my trust there...🤨

 

I've been reading so much information yet i feel completely clueless. I think I confused myself.🥴

I just need the "Sit down and listen: Do this, and do it in this order!" version.😂

.... Now this is gone again... I understand nothin anymore.

 

It did show the fee. and now that box is empty. I hope nothing went wrong with payment

It's back, must have been successful then.🤣🤣 I'm sure I'm too impatient or too exited or both 🙈 

I'm on pins and needles here and I'm driving myself nuts, clearly 😂

Allright. I need to step away from this for today, or until i finally get in touch with consulate🫣

 

I retraced my steps of what I did yesterday when I paid the fee, and now a screen popped up....

I missed this Yesterday or I forgot about it this morning.

Either way, I will wait for the response from the consulate.😮‍💨

I'm in doubt.

 

The instructions in the checklist say to submit DS-160, pay the visa fee and email the confirmation page.

 

Do they mean the confirmation page of the DS-160 or the payment of the visa fee? or both?

Oh good. Maybe the letter got returned to sender so they just emailed it lol

 

My fiance just emailed the confirmation page of the submitted DS-160, not the visa fee itself.

I also just received the mail to go ahead and schedule my interview!

 

I'll stop stressing now 😂

Please let us know how everything is with the Frankfurt office!! We should get our NOA2 as our confirmation was January 31st, and I'm very nervous with the lack of recent reviews on the website.

I'll surely add a review when ive had my interview! All details i can give could potentially help other prepare for everything  

So far i am happy they respond quickly to email, as long as you put the right thing in the subject line
