Hello, we recently received an update on our I-129F case saying the following " your case was sent to the Department of State for visa processing. You can find general information on Consular Processing by visiting our website at www.uscis.gov . The website will provide information on what to do next, who to contact, and how to inform us of any changes in your situation or address."

So what does this actually mean, is it approved? Hence it is sent for visa processing? We thought it would say one of the three Approved/Rejected or Denial.

Isn't it suppose to be sent to NVC

What are we to do next? and what should we expect in the next coming weeks/months?

Thank you~

Please update your timelines. If you got NOA2 the petition was approved and sent the petition for processing at nvc who will in turn forward the case to the embassy. Start bugging the nvc for the case number in a couple of weeks so you can schedule interview and medical.
