Choose “Travel History”.  “Class of Admission” is the Visa type.

I have that document. It is just that it is not current (it is June 2023, though it should be April 2024). How do I get the most recent one.

I am able to get all travel history including this year travels for my dad Canadian passport just now using this link

https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/history-search

But it is not returning my travel history (US passport).

Hi...I am able to get the travel history...but not the latest I-94

@Cholte cholte It seems that your I-94 record was messed up (system or human error) and this happens. I have a friend who had the same issue some time ago. He finally had his I-94 record fixed after many phone calls and a visit to the local CBP office. I suggest you do the same if a correct I-94 record is a must for you.

@Leo The Great The Travel History is only for foreign aliens, not for US citizens. Same for I-94 records.

Just had a quick question.

My IR1 visa has been under Administrative Processing for 1 year (due to Form DS-5535 processing).

My visa has not yet been approved.

I noticed the other day my DS-260 now says “Re-Opened” in the NVC Portal.

I believe this is because the DS-260 automatically Reopens after 1 year in Administrative Processing.

My questions are:

  • What happens if I just leave it as Re-Opened and I don't resubmit the DS-260? (i.e. I don't do anything)

  • When my Administrative Processing is completed, if the Consulate sees that my DS-260 is Re-Opened and not yet resubmitted, what will they do?

The reason I don't want to re-submit my DS-260 at this time is because I plan to travel to several countries soon and I want to make sure that my updated travel history is included in my DS-260.

(After all my travel is completed, which may take some time)

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? Are we supposed to leave the DS-260 open or close it ourselves? Many of us are past the one year mark sadly

From previous Visajourney users I’ve seen that waited over a year, most were asked by the consulate to update their DS-260 form along with submitting their passport and medical.

interview was march 2022,  got put in AP (they had kept passport).

DS 5535 was requested july 2022 (requested passport back after reading everything here),

Just want to clarify that you've been in AP for 25 months based on your march 2022 interview? And in the DS-5535 queue for around 21/22 months since July 2022. can you confirm for the group?

Also do you mind sharing if the consulates request for your passport/medical etc came unexpectedly or had you noticed multiple updates on your case after you emailed them? Just trying to confirm the sequence of events that lead to passport requests from the consulate for the benefit of the group. TIA

hello @Irish89  yes exactly after my interview march 2022, was put in AP, but the consulate had kept my passport. Early July 2022, they requested for me to submit DS-5535 and I was in AP again.   So AP all together for 24 months.    March 2024, they sent me the email requesting a new medical, Canadian police clearance and passport, and pictures. it came unexpectedly (as I was actually traveling when I received it). As I mentioned earlier after receiving the DS-5535 I was not checking my case as often on CEAC as I knew it would be a long while.. I just kept on living.  Came back from trip, got an appointment early April to do medical, and received my fingerprint clearance last week and went to send everything.

does anyone know how long the wait is now? after they asked for the additional documents? CEAC had an update today.. im i getting closed to the long awaited "issued" ??

@yvesemma I believe you were cleared when they ask updated medical and police certificate. Congratulations! You will hear the sweat word "Issued" very soon.

Looking at our tracker, after sending the passport in it takes 1 - 8 weeks.

Any idea what the ds5355 rate is in Montreal? I've heard anywhere between 40%-80%. Might be lower as those would didn't receive one would likely not report in

I don't think its that bad. But who knows. There are 7 of us who are IR1/CR1 who interviewed April 2023. According to the resource below, in April 2023, Montreal issued 156 IR1/CR1 visas. Therefore at least 7 / 163 = 4.3% people got a DS-5535. The question is how many people got a DS-5535 and are not active on this forum or on the tracker? My guess is this forum has a relatively large group of people who are caught up in this are here, both active and inactive. So maybe 10% - 20% of folks get it?

That's the raw DS-5535 rate. As many have discussed, your education, country of birth, name, travel history, etc. may also have an impact on that odds of getting it. I have also heard that some people can also be randomly selected. I think no one really knows though.
