Hello guys my name is lakeside and I reside in  US. Please can anyone tell me where NVC are right now with F22 category because I have completed my children document with them(NVC) since 2021 November and this is the message I keep getting from them .This notice is to inform you that your case for an immigrant visa is documentarily complete at the National Visa Center (NVC) and has been since 20-Nov-2021.  NVC has received all of the fees, forms and documents required prior to attending an immigrant visa interview. Your petition is awaiting an interview appointment. At this time, no further action is required.  We appreciate your patience.

Your case will remain at NVC until an appointment is scheduled, at which time we will send it to the appropriate U.S. Embassy or Consulate General.  We will notify the applicant, petitioner, and attorney (if applicable) when an appointment is scheduled. Please what can I do am tired is so frustrating

Lagos has a big backlog, it's 18 months to 2 years from DQ to interview date I believe. Is your PD current? If it is then hopefully it won't be too much longer.

OK, so their PD's aren't quite current yet. On this month's Visa Bulletin the date for F2A is 8th Feb 2020. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2024/visa-bulletin-for-february-2024.html

However, next month their PD's become current (see link above from @JeanneAdil), so then a visa will become available to them and they'll be added to the queue for an interview.
