Second IR1 Interview at US Embassy, Accra

My mom had her interview last November. She was handed the 221g letter and she submitted the documents she was told to submit. 2 days after her interview, the embassy sent an email requesting that she and the petitioner are to have another interview together which they had today.

The people who interviewed her (not sure they were consular officers) said they are now going to give the report to their senior officers who will adjudicate the case and that my mom will hear from them when they are done adjudicating the case.

I want to know how long such cases take before adjudication.

important to know when their medicals were dated/November date can be anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 months ago

they need to have visa and travel prior to 6 months of exam date

so, if they expire , the CO will request new medical exam 

and it would have been a CO who did the 2nd interview

Mom said the people who interviewed her said they have no authority to adjudicate. They were only to ask the questions and give a report to their senior officers.

the person is still a CO

Visa was issued last week Monday😀
