New employer on I-864EZ

Hi there,

I’ve searched everywhere and I could not find an answer, so please excuse me if this has been asked and answered before.

Basically, we’ll file an I-864EZ (as we qualify for it) soon, with the NVC.

However, the issue is that my wife (USC) has started a new job in January, she’ll still make over the 125% guideline, but this new employer will not be mentioned on the financial documents that have to be submitted (W2s), for last tax year, yet it will be listed under “Current employer” at the I-864EZ document.

Will this cause any issues? Are there other documents that have to be filled or send that would help clear up any confusion?

Thanks!

No issue at all, but she WILL include a current pay stub from the new employer as evidence of her current income.  Tax related documents are about the past.
