N-600K Status

Hey all, I submitted an N-600K for my son on October 10, 2023. I requested the 2 Mill St, Lawrence, MA field office. They currently appear to have a 5.5 month processing time for 80% of N-600K’s. 
 

Since submitting, the case status has remained at “Case Was Received And A Receipt Notice Was Sent”. I received the receipt in the mail a couple weeks after submitting the form.
 

How long does it typically take for the status to change? Or does it not change before the field office eventually reaches out for the interview?

Wanted to check in to see if anyone can share their experience with how this submission normally progresses. Does the application status change before an officer reaches out for interview request?

Any updates on your situation? I filed at Lawrence as well in March
