TO PAY FEES USE AN INCOGNITO WINDOW !!! Thats how my payment finally went through with an instantaneous confirmation window!

I tried clearing history, unblocking popup, using safari instead of chrome etc.  INCOGNITO is the way to !

I see it already out of my bank account less than 24 hours!

Good luck!

Finally got the I130 approval for parents (filed October 6 and 10, 2023!!!)  and sibling (filed December 13, 2023).

Is the NVC process consular filling pretty easy to do on my own? or hiring a paralegal/lawyer now is helpful?

Thanks!!!

It’s fairly straightforward. As usual, NVC (or any other immigration related department) is complete garbage. I spent 3 months going back and forth with NVC inquiry forms dealing with multiple employees and finally getting state representative’s help to tell NVC that the forms they rejected was their mistake. Eventually they accepted the same forms I had submitted 3 months prior.

Hope you don’t have similar issues. Good luck!!

Got the interviews scheduled for my parents’ applications fairly quick. It’s been <6 weeks since they got DQ. Interview will be in September. Parents are here with us visiting but they’ll be back home several weeks before the interview so they should be alright.

That’s standard for probably ~90% of consulates. 2-3 months is about the norm for those without a backlog.

I’m guessing from @shkabaan’s profile that his parents will be interviewing in Saudi too.

Which consulate will your parents be interviewing at? Please fill your timeline out, thx.
