I-864 Does the Barcode at the bottom contain all the form information?

Just wanted to confirm the way the I-864 pdf application works. It has a barcode at the bottom and after filling out the form electronically (adobe acrobat reader), the form data is saved into the barcode?

After I print the application, sign using a pen, then rescan all the pages back into a new pdf file. The barcode at the bottom allows the NVC to scan it and immediately get all the form data instead of manually entering it from the scanned images inside the new pdf?

Thanks a lot.

Nope.  Don't worry about the barcode.  Just make sure that the I-864 scan that you upload to CEAC has the barcode at the bottom and is not cropped out.
