Consulate Interview for EB Green Card soon but employer office recently went fully remote

When my employer first started the EB process I was still in the US on H1B working from an office in Nashville TN (just using this city for example). My PERM and I-140 were both approved based on that city. My H1B expired before the I-140 was approved, so I left the US and have been working remotely from my country waiting for the consulate interview.

A few months back my employer decided to let everyone work from home and so the office in Nashville has now closed. We have a "corporate" office but thats based in another state, and only top level executives and HR work from there, majority of the company have started working remotely across the US.

How will this affect my consulate interview that I have coming up soon? I still have my bank account in the US open where my paychecks being deposited, and I'm still paying taxes based on the city I used to work in, even though I'm not currently in the US. But there is no longer a physical office in Nashville. My plan was to go back there assuming the interview is approved and working remotely from home in Nashville.

Has PERM been completed? I wonder if that has to be redone too because it would have been looking for employees only in the Nashville area

Apart from PERM, if I-140 has come out you'll have to file an amendment, but if it has not, I'm not sure. Good news is, in the worst case you should be able to still keep your priority date.

Speaking of which, what's your PD? Which country are you born in (India, China, ROW) and which EB category?
