RFE via e-mail

If I was to get an RFE and from reading here I bet I will. Makes me made all the stuff they want and how specific, when they cannot be specific on the forms or requests of information required.

In any case I wanted to know if I was to get an RFE will they send me an e-mail alert to that affect as well as the letter? Or will the letter for the RFE just magically show up in my mail? I ask because I travel a lot for work (currently in S. Korea), so do not get to check my mail and would like to know if and when an RFE is floating out there.

It comes by snail mail. YOu may get an email update saying one was sent but it will not say what for!

You'll receive the RFE in the mail, jlh. You'll have about two months to prepare and provide the documents/evidence requested. Note: the PO Box for the RFE is different from the PO Box for the original K-1 submittal.

If you don't receive anything in the mail is there a way to confirm that you don't have an RFE or to inquire if you do have one?
