deviation, or mental defect, or who were narcotic drug

addicts or chronic alcoholics were ineligible for

admission or for adjustment of status to a permanent

resident. As amended, the Immigration and Nationality

Act no longer lists specific physical or mental

conditions that automatically exclude an alien but

instead requires a determination of whether an alien

has a physical or mental disorder and associated

behavior that has posed or is likely to pose a threat

to the property, safety, or welfare of the alien or

others."

I don't think any of this should be a concern to you. Don't worry..depression is so common these days, I don't think they will even really pay attention to that, IF they ask you about it at all.
