Hi, my new family!

I am in process of firing my attorney. I actually already have everything ready for the I-601 packet except for the attorney letter, which doesn't seem to be a requirement.

I am willing to submit this application without an attorney. I just need guidance on how to do so (where to send it). I will also need to submit as fee-in-amend-later because we don't yet have the visa denial letter.

I am going to submit to Guatemala and would like to do so before the end of the month.

Please HELP!!!

Carolina and Ellioani

In addition to reading Laurel Scott's 601 waiver memo, read the example approved and denied hardship letters on www.immigrate2us.net.

An attorney letter is no way a requirement but a letter from you proving extreme hardship with evidence and documentation is a requirement.
