Please explain this. Does the application have to be postmarked the 30th or 31st? Which date? I mean to get the cheaper app fee of $170.00 (is that the exact correct fee?). Can I take the app to Lincoln Immigration center? Would that help? Or as long as it is postmarked by WHICH DATE?

My bf procrastinated and is sending from Casablanca today the following. He said he is sending DSL and will be here Friday or Saturday, which i cannot believe, but maybe Monday? Will that be too late if I have everything else ready?

1. visa style pictures, he said he is sending more than two

2. four copies of bio - signed

3. I-129 with his name in arabic

4. letter of intent, signed

ANYTHING ELSE? I need to call if so, and how much difference does it make if he signs out of box or something? I told him to sign three ways, because his signature doesn't look at all like his name. The three ways are so we can read his name, his signature, and in Arabic.

THANKSSSS and plz hurry!!!!!!!!!! (bf, DSL, etc. lol)

Neither -- it must be postmarked by the 29th

If postmarked on the 30th, the new rates apply.

Since the 29th is a Sunday, the postmark will have to be by Saturday, the 28th.

He can scan the visa photos and you can use the digital to print copies here and you might want to consider sending in scanned copies of the orginals. You will get a RFE for it but I do not think your application would be rejected and you woul dbe in with the current fees.

omg

i don't have any of the signed applications here

Calm down. Sit back and relax. You will be filing with the new fees. No need to stress about it. It's not the end of the world. Procrastination can be expensive.

Good luck. I think you will need it.

If the package gets returned for being an incomplete application, will you still be not willing to do it? How important is it to you that the application process proceed without further delay? If they do accept the application, you won't be able to send actual copies in a couple of days. You will have to wait for an RFE and your processing will be halted while they send that out and you respond. This will take some additional processing time.

How long will that take, for them to request it if they accept it?

a RFE can slow your case down a week or 2 depending on the mail and your ability to return information. The can ask for a RFE soon after receipt or later when they have begun processing the case.

If i understood your original post the only things you are missing from him that you must have his original signature on are the BIO forms and the letter of intent. Sending a digital form of the photos is certainly possible as is scanning the I129 with his name and address in aRabic, You cna then complete the form with your original signature.

You are then looking at a complete package but will likely get a rFE for original BIO forms and lettter of intent (if they even do that).

Is there some reason he can not send a scanned copy? Take the pics again and get a digital form if necessary. down load new forms and scan if necesary.

Or, they could return the entire package, based on the lack of original signature and they would have to refile.

Absolutely true- you are taking your chances when sending in an incomplete file. I've seen cses really slow down or have a series of problems often triggered by the filer not USCIS.
