I am planning to go be with my Fiance the 24th of aug. My 1-129f was received back in the middle of april, if my calculations are correct, I might get my NO2 about the time I leave for 18 days.

If it does arrive then is there any time sensitive things in there I need to worry about?

Since I am going over to see her is there anything I should do / bring that might be to my advantage?

Well just take care of the I-134 before you leave and take it with you. Thats all you really need to worry about at that point. If you have additional proof of your relationship that you want to provide you should make copies of that as well.

There is nothing that you really need to worry about. The NOA-2 is just a letter you will get. It is not certified or does not give you any information you need. It can sit there and wait for you until you get back.

The only thing you could do if you wanted is if you will not be back for the interview or before the interview you could take the stuff she will need to save sending it DHL later. Things like your tax copies, bank letter, employer letter, I-134 etc You have lots of time otherwise. I think the best you can hope for as far as the interview goes is October or November.

Enjoy your vacation. As the petitioner, the only thing you have to do is send your I-134 and supporting documents (and your copy of the K-1 application you made before mailing to USCIS & new evidence you may have gathered since you filled). You can do all of this before your vacation. Or when you get back. 18 days isn't very long. You will be fine.

I would take the Originals of any/all documents you made photocopies of. You can leave them with your SO along with your I-134 and supporting documents. in fact, its usually a good idea to have an exact copy of the entire packet you submitted with the I-129F. (If you made one) Take this to her and she will have everything the embassy has plus originals (Birth Certificate, plane ticket stubs, divorce decrees, etc.) Like it was mentioned earlier, you can at least save yourself alot of money for postage by delivering everything she needs yourself. If you were applying for a K-3 or CR-1 visa you would need this NOA2 for the next step at NVC. But since you're pursuing a K-1, there's really no need. NVC simply organizes your packet and forwards it to Moscow. Not sure I really helped, but good luck!
