Question about passport for i-129f

Do i need to make a copy of all my pages in my passport??? What if i already made a copy of my birth certificate? Do i need to send passport & my birth certificate???

And do i need a copy of the back of the birth certificate??? Theres nothing written on there??

The all page requirement is for proof of citizenship, if you provide a birth cert then you don't need them.

11. Copy of the Birth certificate (front and back) for the US Citizen OR a copy of ALL pages of the US Citizen's passport issued with a validity of at least 5 years or a copy of the US Citizen's naturalization certificate (front and back). This is used to establish citizenship

Also if nothing on the reverse side of the Birth cert, just make a note on the back side of the copy "Reverse of Birth Cert".

I made copies of the picture page of my passport and the stamps that showed I had visited the country and I sent a copy of my birth certificate.

Dan's given you your answer. It's the same one you get by carefully reading the instructions for the I-129F. Here's a little of what I think is some wisdom that will be of help to you. No matter how much you study the guides and instructions you're going to have questions. We're here to help with that. However, if you fail to study the guides and read the instructions carefully, you will probably miss asking some important questions.

I'm always concerned about those who start out asking questions about things that are clearly addressed in the instructions that come with the forms. It tells me they either

1. didn't bother to read,

2. didn't read carefully enough or

3. simply don't have the aptitude to comprehend the sometimes complex sentences in the instructions

1 and 2 are fairly easily correctable. Three is nothing to be ashamed of and can be solved by enlisting the help of a "buddy" with the needed aptitude. This isn't rocket science but it isn't simple stuff either. Some of the instructions baffle the best of us but we don't know we're baffled if we don't read them.

lol yeah i read the whole form three times and i will read it again once i think i have all the papers organized. I think i have everything i need except for the current passport picture. I just want to hear it from other people what they did. I was going to send both but i didnt want to make all those copies of my passport when i have a birth certificate already scanned front & back.

And also i made copies of the visas i had to prove for the relationship.

1. Do i have to send in proof that I can support her? Like do I have to send in my latest payroll check that shows how much i make or some bank statements or do I do these things for the NOA2

2. Can we send in typed/filled in I-129f forms and G-325A forms with adobe reader and then i will just sign & date them all so its official? Or do all the forms that need signatures have to be hand written??

Once again I see the checklist but i want to ask for others answers.

I am mailing the packet by this thursday but i wanted to know if i get an RFE and they send it back and i correct it. Will i have to send it back at the new price even if i send the originals in before the new price??

1. You do not have to send proof af being able to support her at this stage, but you will at the consulate interview stage.

2. Yes, it is recommended that you type in the information for these forms then print and sign. G-325A will print 4 copies. Sign and send all 4 copies for each of you.

You will have already filed, so there will not be an additional fee. Your check or money order will have been cashed long before you are adjudicated. Good luck!

If an RFE, they took your money as started processing, they just want additional evidence that was either lost by them or you left out of the package, no additional fees required.
