My fiance visa is already at the embassy since december 2022.. how long can she apply for it and set up the interview. The embassy said she has 1 year to apply for it.. The question is when the date starts from? The date the petition was approved or when the visa arrived at the consulate?

The I-129F approval notice has the deadline (valid from). In my fiancée’s it was 3 calendar months less a  day from the date of approval.

The notice said on the bottom the beneficiary has 1 year to apply for the benefit. The time to schedule for the interview is 4 months  from august 2022but the visa didnt arrive at the embassy until december

Contacted the embassy they said we can resume processing when the applicant is ready with the documents. The case will remain active for 1 yr

The visa is ready for interview up to this time per the website
