Greetings,

Some of the instructions on Form I-134 Declaration of Support don't' seem to make sense in the section regarding supporting evidence.

It has #1 requesting bank statements, #2 for a statement from your employer, then starts again with a separate #1 for copy of tax returns and a separate #2 for a list of bonds.

My question is, why are there two #1 and #2 sections?  Is the first #1 and #2 for employed persons and the second #1 and #2 for self-employed persons?  The document doesn't clearly state the difference in the description (see screenshot attached).

I myself am employed by an employer, so do I only attach the bank letter and employment letter, or do I also need to include my last tax return and any bond information?  Is it a pick from the first 2 or the second 2 options?  Anyone know for sure?

Thanks.

Looks to me the person who wrote the document with MS Word doesn’t know how to continue automatic numbering of lists.
