Hi all,

A bit of a strange one.  My wife sent in her green card for 10-year renewal back in July of 2021.  We are still waiting for any movement on the renewal - zero progress - and the green card expired in December of 2021.  We have gotten two receipt notices, the first extending the green card's validity for travel for 12 months past expiration, and a second one that extended for 24 months past - so we've been able to travel without issue.  However, her Nexus is now past expiration, and I can't figure out how to apply for renewal as you have to enter her green card (I think) in the application, but it errors out because the expiration date is past.

Does anyone know if there's a way to get her Nexus renewed before the I-90 is processed?  Many thanks!

The extension letter should provide the new "expiration date" which would be on file with USCIS.
