My current partner (Honduran citizen) is legally married in Honduras. He came in 2017, and we have spent thousands on a Honduran lawyer for a divorce--starting 2020. He is still not divorced--lawyer has something new to request every time we think we are moving forward. What is the fastest way to get a divorce internationally? Should I go to Honduras myself and go before a judge?

He can get a divorce here in the US . Call around and consult at least 3 US Family Law attorneys in your state/ city. Legal fees/ retainers vary wildly from atty to atty.
Look for friends/church/Facebook groups for possible referrals of attorneys experienced w Honduras .

It’s not difficult at all and you can get lots of helpful info from your local family court legal aide clinic
