I'm confused about the fiancee letter of intent. according to the instruction I need to submit two copies one for myself and my fiance. Should both appear with the same California sevice center address. I know my should but should hers have the foriegn counsulates address? I thought another letter should be drafted upon interview which comes later.

Are you petitioning for a K1? If so, each of you need to write and sign the fiance letter of intent which is sent with the petition to the service center. Some consulates also require an updated letter of intent at the consular interview.

Yes, I'm filing the K-1 Visa. I both signed but should hers reflect the same service center address then another drafted later reflecting the counsulates address upon interview?

Address your initial letter as such:

Fiancé Letter of Intent

(petitioner’s / beneficiary’s address)

United States Department of Homeland Security

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

(USCIS service center address)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

or when submitting for interview

United States Department of State

United States Consulate, [name of country where Embassy is located]

[Embassy Address]

(date mm-dd-yyyy)

Then address the letters for submission at the interview as shown above.

When you and your fiance write the letters of intent for the original petition submission, they can be both addressed to the applicable service centre.

When your fiance gets ready for the interview at the consulate, only you, the USC petitioner, needs to submit an updated letter of intent addressed to the applicable consulate/embassy.

You're welcome!

If she is your fiance, why are you listed as filing K-3? Just curious.
