Hi everyone!
I finally received my N-400 interview notice recently and now I’m studying and preparing for this day as much as I can. However, I have a I-751 pending since September 2019. It is also a divorce waiver, and N-400 is filed under the 5 year rule.

I am considering writing a letter to my local office where the interview will be held to ask them for a combo interview, and maybe attach a couple documents showing how long it’s been.
Question: is this a crazy idea? Should I even bother or just hope I get a combo interview? Has anyone done this? Any input is helpful! Thank you.

It can't hurt, you can upload it with the online account. And make a request to do the i751 interview at the n400 interview, if needed.

Get prepared to do the i751 just in case. Bring any updated evidence of your bonified marriage pre separation from your spouse you may have.

Good luck.

Turns out I didn’t have to write a letter to the local office because I ended up receiving a status update today ‘Interview was scheduled’ next to my I-751 case. So relieved it’s been taken care of by them! I was planning to send them a letter tomorrow. Now I am waiting for the notice to come in the mail, I hope it’s the same day as my N-400 interview!
