SSN not verified?

Hi, I received my SSN card today and tried to create a mySocialSecurity account. When trying to register on Login.gov, it said my credentials were invalid. Is it possible that it may be "too early" and that I have to wait a few days before it gets added to the system? I was able to apply for a DL, but unable to register things like Login.gov, E-verify.gov, Credit Karma, etc.

Thanks!

Yes juts give it time. It take few days or weeks sometime a month for the system to update. I recall applying for a credit card within 2weeks of getting my SSN, I got the same "unable to verify"".

Thank you! I will wait a bit. Ended up getting locked out of my SSA account, guess I'll try next week.

Hi @F3MTL, I’m having the same issue with my SSN. Just received it and trying to add to wife’s credit card and also create SSA account. Keep saying unable to verify and I also got locked out of SSA.

We’re you eventually able to verify or needed to visit a SSA office to sort it out?

Hi, yes I was able to eventually sign in. It took a few weeks if I remember correctly. Just have to wait for the SSN to be active for a bit.
