Now I'm a bit confused... after I submit the I-129F, do I receive some sort of notification that she can go to the embassy to apply for the K-1 visa? Is this what #20 is referring to? Also, are they likely to deny her if she left the US not long ago?

Yes, once your petition is approved at the service center, it is then sent to the National Visa Center. There, it receives a new, consulate specific case number and is then forwarded the overseas consulate. The consulate will then send the foreign fiance/e forms and further instructions on how to apply for the visa.

And no, the fact that she left the US a short while ago should not effect her case (as long as she left the US when she was supposed to!).

A legal entry to the US followed by a departure without overstay is not an issue. An overstay would be an issue.

you usually put the u.s. embassey of her country...

if you look in embassey info at the top of the page the town is in there along with other helpful information you might need to know..

REMOVING CONDITIONS

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..
