Just noticed a mistake in a approved K1 application

We are already at NVC waiting to schedule our interview, and just noticed a mistake in our original 129-F application (section 29) - we inadvertently swapped my fiancee's mother's name i.e. FirstName LastName instead of LastName FirstName. 

 

Do I need to correct this, and what would be the process?

I doubt this will even come up or be a problem, but the birth certificate she will take to the interview will show her mother and fathers full name, so she can probably just show them this if it does come up.

Yes, you need to correct it to avoid future issues. Just correct it during the interview at the consulate.
