IR1/CR1 spouse visa - Documentarily qualified since Feb 2022

Hello,

 

I am new to this forum, I am a US citizen who filed for my husband in March 2020, USCIS approved the I-130 visa in June 2021, transferred the case to NVC and NVC documentarily qualified the case on Feb 2022. Since then, we are waiting for an interview date for his IR1 interview to be scheduled at Mumbai - US consulate. There is no update from Mumbai Embassy or from NVC - NVC suspended all the calls and we are stuck here. Does anyone know how far along Mumbai consulate has reached for the IR1 interviews or have they temporarily stopped processing the interview dates for IR1 visa? Any help would be appreciated.

Certainly the IR1 interviews are not stopped.  It comes and once in a while and they catch up quickly.  Please join this facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/2368955956734157.   You are certainly due..
