Best of luck at the interview!!

I am far from there, as I have received NOA2, but case hasn't made it to NVC yet, so its not even at ISB yet!!!

Thanks buddy, how is your wife holding up?

Good luck toy you and now start preparing for AOS and EAD

She's hanging in there... I am going to visit PK in December. Hoping that I get some news from USCIS soon. I thought I would bring her with me in December but now that hope has faded away seeing the timeline of people and the fact that I have not even received NOA2.

Inshallah you'll hear some good news, I am going to Pakistan as well in December for 20 days to meet my family and do a true "ruksati"

Hey, same here....I am going for two months in December and was hopeful my husband would come with my daughter and I now that his case is in ISB.....but it looks now that it's not even close. Best of luck.....and hang in there!

Sorry to hear that, there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Thats beautifu. My husband wants me to come to Pakistan and come back to US when he is coming back. But the baby is not even 2 months yet. What u think i should do?

I would totally go!!!! Obviously, I would say that...but seriously...I've learned after being away from my husband so long and him missing EVERYTHING that if you can go (finances, etc)....GO. I don't know where your husband lives, but we live in Lahore and I LOVE IT there...There's no problem me finding a job and I just really enjoy my time there.....and Ezzah has been there when she was two months old and did just fine. Do what's in your heart...I am FINALLY....but what's for one person may not be for another...I would love to hear what you decide.

It's good that Islamabad is moving quicker now, but look at USCIS processing for K3 in US. People from May are still receiving the NOA2 & nothing from August. It seems like it takes about five months period between NOA1 & NOA2.

I NEED HELP

I send my I-485, I-765 & I-131 to Chicago lock box on NOV, 05, 2007 and it was received on NOV,07,2007, but i made the mistake in a cheque rather addressing to USCIS, department of homeland security i wrote USCIS, department of state i called USCIS office and they told me that your cheque is address wrong so your packet will come back along with your cheque and u had to send a new cheque

Uptill today i didnt got my packet back but i had made a new cheque for $1010 now i had the following questions

Now what should i do should i send the new cheque to the USCIS or wait for my packet to come back

Is it possible that how can i contact the USCIS and tell them they dont send my packet back and i send the new cheque to them as the old cheque will not be cash in any way as the bank make a stop on it due to the mistake

Still 10 days gone and i even didnt get the signed receipt the packet i send by usps

Is it possible that they send me the NOA1 and ask me to send the cheque

Please help me with ur reply and consent thanks

I don't agree Khurram, including yours last year time for most people was between 6-8 week compare to now it's 4-5 months between NOA1 to NOA2 for I-129F. I am also attaching last year data with this. You were lucky except the AP. I applied my I-130 2 months ago & still waiting for NOA1 for I-130.

I think it it has always taken 4 to 5 months for K3 in US as my wife's process got done in 4 months

It's almost taking the same time for the I-130 NOA2 if you look at the table's last colum it has the date for I-130 NOA2 approval too. The only difference is that 129F is leaving NVC in 10-14 days & I-130 is leaving the NVC in 3-4 months. Plus, in Pakistan it takes longer for processing of I-130. I hope this help.

All of us who are applying now are really screwed!

Khurram,

I am doing I-130 for my parents its not K-3. Will it take same time? as it will go through same process.

Can the visa be rejected mb Embassy in Pakistan?

Is it possible that how can i contact the USCIS and tell them they dont send my packet back and i send the new cheque to them as the old cheque will not be cash in any way as the bank make a stop on it due to the mistake If the check was in the incorrect amount they have to return the whole packet back to you for resubmission with the correct funds. You need to wait for it to come back since they will not have a packet number for your check to be matched too. You could end up losing these funds since once they accept a check NO REFUNDS.

Still 10 days gone and i even didnt get the signed receipt the packet i send by usps

Is it possible that they send me the NOA1 and ask me to send the cheque I think they could but they are not going to do that. They have too many cases backlogged from the fee increases.

Please help me with ur reply and consent thanks Hope you get your packet back soon so you can get back on track. Mary

To start we are now in the process for AOS and EAD, yesterday we received a letter from USCIS that they are unable to process our application because of missing document, my husband's original birth certificate. We provided uscis with affadavit signed by his parents and that 's what his visa was issued on. NOw all of the sudden this restriction. Don't know what to do? it will take months for us to get his birth ceriticate from union counsel in Pakistan and this will delay the process further. anyone helP????
