I missed my IV appointment because I was not notified by NVC nor the consulate general in Montreal and did not receive an interview appointment letter from any where . I was rescheduled again by US department of State visa appointment services for another interview date but so far I did not receive any appointment letter from US consulate in Montreal. I e-mailed them many times to confirm but no response. Do you guys think I need a letter from the consulate confirming my date of appointment to attend interview or the e-mail that I got from department of state will be enough to attend interview. !!

Thanks

Please clarify what visa process you are pursuing.  Your profile says F2B, yet you posted in the DCF (for IR1/CR1) forum.  Also, you mention the consulate in Montreal, yet your profile lists Philippines.
