Hello,

I filed in December, 2021. I haven’t heard anything from them (no transfers), and when I check the receipt number it still shows the same message that the notice was sent and they received my application. I’ve seen some other cases on this forum that got an update that it was being reviewed only a few months into their case and they still have not been approved.

My question is: is it usually an indicator of how far off your case is from being approved? Would it be a bad sign/an indication that it won’t be the normal processing time if it still shows the “notice sent” message? What is your guy’s experiences?

Thanks

Check the thread below for updates from others who filed I-130 in the same month as you.  The USCIS case status changes don't mean much unless it says "Approved".
